I believe that we were made to live BIG LIVES! I believe that our dreams are important to the One who created us. I believe that health, in every aspect, is possible. And I want to help others attain that.
So, if you are here to learn more about breaking free from the life we are taught to live, and making the choice to live the life we are created to live–I want to help. A healthy lifestyle is that, a lifestyle. It isn’t a quick fix of a little bit of sacrifice. It is deciding that you are tired of staying where you are, for yourself, for your family–however you got to that point–and stepping up and deciding to change some things up. Because you can stay where you are, and get the same results, or you can decide to make some positive, healthy changes–and change where you are going.
For me, it was a multitude of things. One being, for my husband and I to break free from a house that held us back. Because who builds a “forever home” at 23 & 25 years old? Us….that would be us. I remember when we moved in, right away I told myself there was no way that we would be able to keep it. But we did. Financially struggling…for years…we did.
We learned a lot in that house, a lot about each other, a lot about finances and how to pinch a penny, a lot about life–and we learned to pray hard for the dreams in our hearts. We knew the life we dreamt of, having so much of it already–but still knew there was more. And, for us, some of that meant letting go of the things that were holding us back, for something better. Yes, my sentimental heart just said that. And the in between hasn’t been the easiest thing. There are still days when I wonder what we were thinking. But then I remember that yes, we could have stayed there, not getting to experience the tougher parts of making big changes. We would have made it, we always did–but still, it wasn’t what we wanted for ourselves and our family. Why just survive when we were made to thrive?
So why not tie in my passion for a healthier life to help others take the step of finding a home that fits their lifestyle–whether it’s their 1st home, or their 10th? Because financial health is important, too. Starting over can be hard, but I believe that it can be beautiful, and necessary, to get where you want to be. I want to help first time homeowners to be smarter than we were when first starting out, and I want to help current homeowners who may need help breaking free from some past decisions that are hard to break free from.
Whichever of the two that you fit into, I want to help. Your step may not look exactly like mine, but I want to help you take it. I want my experiences to help serve as a resource for you to make healthier choices for you and your family.
